Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich

Description

This open-face roast beef sandwich requires minimal ingredients and makes for a delicious snack. If you like a little more spice, feel free to use spicy horseradish sauce. Easily customizable, these are great for a picnic or brunch appetizer. 

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 lb Thinly sliced Roast Beef
  • 1/3 cup Mild Horseradish Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Major Grey Chutney (Chopped)
  • 2 tsp Low-fat Milk
  • 4 Slices Dark Rye Bread
  • 1/2 Medium Cucumber, sliced thin
  • 1/2 small Red onion, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp Chives, chopped
Instructions
  1. For the Sauce

    In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients (horseradisch sauce, milk, and chutney)

  2. Assembly

    Spread one side of each bread slice with 2 teaspoons sauce. Top with equal amounts of cucumber, onion and deli roast beef. Spoon remaining sauce evenly over beef; sprinkle with chives.
