What makes Greenridge products all-natural?
All Greenridge products that carry the Naturals label, are produced to the USDA standard qualification for natural products. Greenridge Naturals products are minimally processed and contain no artificial ingredients. Our traditional recipes have been around long before any of common artificial ingredients found in other products!
Are Greenridge products gluten-free?
Yes, all Greenridge products are gluten-free.
Do Greenridge meats contain Nitrates or Nitrites?
No meat products can be truly nitrate and nitrite free as there are naturally occurring nitrates found in meat, sea salt, etc. But, we do not add any nitrates or nitrites to the products during processing. We also do not use sodium nitrate, citrate, phosphate, or any other preservatives in any of our Naturals products.
Where does Greenridge source its meats from?
Greenridge uses premium quality meat sourced from local, primarily midwestern, family farms to ensure the freshest, highest quality.
How are Greenridge meats processed?
Our meats are made in small batches to ensure each bite is consistently delicious with a fresh, butcher-quality taste. By hand-trimming, seasoning with natural ingredients, slowly marinating, and naturally smoking our meats, we don’t take shortcuts.
Where does Greenridge cheese come from?
We partner with the finest cheese producers in Wisconsin, the motherland of the best cheese in America. Combining our unique recipes with the finest dairy and artisanal processing techniques, Greenridge cheese is truly authentic to its Midwest and European traditions.

Can I freeze Greenridge meats?
Greenridge Sausages and Meat Sticks can be frozen for up to 90 days and still maintain the same great flavor. We do not recommend freezing any of our premium lunch meats or cheeses.
How do I request my local grocer to carry Greenridge deli products?
Please let your local grocer or deli manager know that you’re interested in seeing Greenridge products where you shop. Then, fill out our in-store request form and one of our representatives will work with your store to get us in their deli counter.
Is it safe to eat Greenridge products past their expiration date?
Simply put, we wouldn’t eat expired food and neither should you.
Are Greenridge Sausages pre-cooked or do I need to fully cook them?
All of our premium sausages are fully cooked before you buy them. We recommend cooking them to a temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit prior to consuming.
Do you sell direct out of your facility in Elk Grove?
No. But you can find our products in mosts grocers around the Chicagoland area. Please visit our retailer map to see where you can pick up your favorite Greenridge products.
Can I buy Greenridge Deli Products online?
Currently, not all products produced by Greenridge are available for purchase online. We are working diligently to get all products available for purchase online, but in the meantime, please check out our retailer map or request us in your favorite local grocer or deli.
Who can I contact if I’ve experienced a quality issue with the products I’ve purchased?
If you’ve received an online order that does not meet quality expectations, please submit a report on our customer service form. If you have purchased a deli item in-store, please notify the deli manager and contact us on our support page with the location information and the product you’ve purchased.

Do you have to cook Greenridge beef sticks?
No. All Greenridge Naturals Beef Sticks, Pork Sticks, and Chicken Sticks are naturally cooked and fully cooked. Since we don’t add preservatives, all Greenridge Meat Sticks should be refrigerated after opening.
